Hi all! Hope you had a nice Easter! Our Easter was great. My mom, Steve's parents, my sister-in-law, her husband and kids all came over. We had lamb, ham, chicken cutletes and all kinds of sides. Alex loved opening up her gifts and being able to play with more people. Check out Easter pictures (to the left of all the updates).Steve and I dropped Early Intervention P.T. The lady who was coming out to work with Alex was very nice and always brought over a new "toy" for Alex to try. The problem is that she was not WORKING on Alex and we made zero progress in the 4 or 5 times she was here...Alex had an appointment at the CHOP Specialty Care Center in Voorhees earlier this week. The lady we saw there said that it seems as though Alex is not having any issues with the way she eats but that she will test this out a bit more just to be sure. She also confirmed that Alexandria's upper body is really weak and needs some work as well as the whole issue of Alex holding her head and body to the right. The O.T. we saw said that P.T. and O.T. in this age group are essentially the same and that she will try to get a P.T. to sit in on our next session and then they will decide who should work with Alex on correcting her neck issues and strengthening her upper body. We do have a seperate appointmetn with CHOP P.T. at the same location which we are going to keep in case the O.T. is not able to get a P.T. to sit in on our next session. Now I feel like we are finally getting somewhere!
Keep on praying for Alexandria's left kidney, for the kidney stones in both kidneys to disolve and go away on their own, for Alexandria's weight gain issues and for her muscle development.
Thank you so much!

She is sooo stinkin cute Kamila! I can't decide who she looks like, but she has got one great smile!!! :-)
