Above are two videos from March 8th of Alexandria rolling over for the first time! I also updated the picture slideshow for Alex but the updates did not take on the blog...I tried to post the changes many times and they are still not taking. I am working on figuring out what's going on. If you have some tips on this please let me know. Anyway...Alex can now roll over from her tummy to her back. It was so cute - she had no idea what all the excitement was all about. :) The 1 teaspoon a day of Caro is working wonders and Alex is now pooping all by herself (mommy does not have to help her - i know gross...). No more screaming, turning red and waking up due to the poop! Yayyy! Alex also graduated to sleeping in her very own nursery and crib - away from mommy and daddy. I don't know if this was harder on mommy or baby...The transition was painful (emotionally) but good in so many ways for little Alex. Alexandria loves her room and crib but did not want to be left all by herself...The first night was horrible...we got up every 15 minutes to reassure Alex that we are here and to make sure Alex did not need to nurse or have her diaper changed. The second night was MUCH better - a bit of a rough start but Alex went to sleep pretty quickly and only woke up twice to feed. Tonight is the third night and I am hoping that it will be an even smoother transition. Alex is doing all sort of funny things with her tongue! Sticking it out really far and licking everything...She has been grabing toys much better and loves to touch my face as well as grab Steve's nose. The Physical Therapy for Alex begins tomorrow morning and we are excited to get her little neck, upper body and fine motor skills worked on and corrected. Thank you again for all your prayers! We feel them and appreciate them.
