Hi. Today we went to a place called Johnson's Corner Farm with Alex. We fed corn to some farm animals, listened to live music, took a hay ride to a pumpkin patch (picked out a pumpkin to carve and one to make a pie with), went through a corn maze and had ice cream. It was great to be outside with Alex all day doing something fun - something other then going to CHOP...or running errands. She had a really good time. Was taking it all in. We carved the pumpkin when we got home. Alex said it was 'pretty' and when I asked her if she wants to touch the goo she got excited and said "yeah". but then when she touched the inside of the pumpkin (without the goo, just moist) she had a look of disgust on her face and didn't want to do it again. She is funny! We don't get any trick or treaters at our house since we are not in a development and don't live in a sidewalk community...but the carved pumpkin is on our front porch with a candle inside looking good! I will have to break out my pumpkin pie recipe next week to make some pies. I posted pictures from today and also pictures from October. Enjoy!

- My husband and I met in January of 2007. Our relationship moved at a fast pace. We got engaged in July of 2007(at the Philly's game!) and 6 months after that we were married. Alex was conceived on our honeymoon. It's been a power packed year of marriage! God has been very kind through the many ups and downs. His strength and power shine through our weakness.
