MRU

Just a quick update to let you know that Alexandria's MRU test went well. Yesterday was a looong and exhausting day...We left the house a bit before 9:00 a.m. and came home from CHOP around 6:30 p.m. The MRU itself was 1 hour and 15 minutes long but prepping Alex for the test; including anesthesia, took a while. On top of which the MRI department was running behind due to many patients and construction...Babies are taken first, second only to really sick kids. Despite of all that we still had an hour and a half delay. Poor Alex had to have 2 IVs and a catheter for this test. She did really well though and this IV experience (Alex is a really hard stick) was the best one we ever had! Thank you for your prayers! We have an appointment on Monday November 16th to get the test results and talk about a plan of action - basically, we will find out if surgery is needed or if we wait. Alex is still a bit out of sorts from the anesthesia yesterday. The poor thing had to have her 15 month well visit with the pediatrician today during which she got her shots. So we are (well, Alex is...) taking it easy today. Thank you again for your prayers.
