We are being discharged today! Yayyy! Alex continues to do very well on her formula, her button no longer hurts and she looks and acts like her little self again - full of rosy color, smiles and energy! :) If this was an allergy it will take about 6 weeks for Alexandria's belly to fully heal. The medicine she is on to coat her tummy is making her button feel much better will help with any discomfort. A surgical nurse practitioner is coming later on today to give Alex a new Mic-Key button. The valve in the one she has now is broken...This is the 2nd button the valve broke in...These things are supposed to last 3 to 6 moths minimum...I am told that in active little kids the valve breaks pretty often. While we are here they are going to remeasure Alex to make sure the size button she has now is still the size button she needs (as she grows she will need different size buttons). It is a busy day - packing, making phone calls and preparations to go home. Thank you for your prayers!

Alex was conceived on our honeymoon. It's been a power packed year of marriage! God has been very kind through the many ups and downs. His strength and power shine through our weakness.
